Hanlon Builders Ltd worked for Graham Construction on the new Aberdeen hospital. This new hospital design was missing Cavity Barriers on the original drawings which was raised by Building Control when trying to receive completion certification for the works. As a result, an Injectaclad system was implemented as a fast and effective solution to install the necessary cavity barriers.
The Injectaclad barrier installation, along with thorough quality control and detailed documentation, enabled the client (NHS) to bring their cavity barrier installation into compliance. The comprehensive report from Hanlon Builders Ltd facilitated quick resolution of the issues, allowing approval from both the Clerk of Works and Building Control, while minimizing disruption to the nearly completed building.
